Ready to set fire to the rain and watch your past burn away? On June 14 at 7:52 a.m. EST, we have our sixth full moon of 2022, this one taking place in fiery Sagittarius. This Sagittarius full moon is sure to ignite your passion for action and push you to torch your past limitations.
During a full moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposition, which puts our ego in opposition to our emotions. This leaves us feeling one way, but acting another. And this duality will be especially noticeable this full moon since the Sun/Moon opposition occurs on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis.
Both Gemini and Sagittarius are mutable–a.k.a. changeable / moody / dualistic–signs, so expect lots of changing, shifting, and double-sided feelings. (Also plan for some dramatic revelations, as full moons often reveal to us important insights we might otherwise overlook.)
There are a number of significant transits occurring on this full moon that could help or hinder our plans to release the past and take action towards the future.
The first is Mercury in Gemini. The communication planet entered its home-slice sign on June 13, and we should all be feeling a lot breezier and clearer in our thinking, speaking and writing.
The second transit is Mars conjunct Chiron in Aries, which, according to MoonOmens.com, “triggers the wounds we all have been carrying around: our right to exist, to take action, to enjoy sexuality, and to assert ourselves and our needs.”
Also, Neptune in Pisces is square–or, very tensely aspecting–the 2022 Sagittarius full moon. The bad side of this transit is confusion, martyrdom and excessive escapism; the good side of Neptune square moon transit is a heightened sense of spirituality, selflessness, a yearning for union and heightened creativity. Um, yes please.
Still, retrograde Saturn in Aquarius is making a harmonious sextile aspect to this lunation. Saturn sextile Moon brings a grounding influence to this otherwise frenzied full moon, encouraging us to be more patient and responsible in our life-arson, but since Saturn is retrograde, it could cause a delay in forward progress.
Of course, how the 2022 June full moon and those aforementioned transits will affect you depends entirely on your Sun and Rising sign. So, without further ado:
